And so, I choose life. Will I make mistakes? I hope so, a sign of leaping. Will I be wrong? Definately, an opportunity for learning. Will I sacrifice myself for your approval? Never again.

I finished reading The Virtue of Selfishness today. It wasn't that long ago that I reread Fountainhead, but I needed this next book. It's a series of essays outlining that which is the pulse of the fiction. I won't say that it should be read, or followed or believed or valued, only that the book is not complicated. It is a straightforward explanation of what I can be. The virtue of selfishness is grounded in reason, logic, and an appreciation for life.

Before that I read Nietzsche, and you couldn't pay me to quote it, but I'm glad I read him first.

From chaos, order. I really, really like that idea. Thank you.
